Of course, the Jackass Number Two cast members went on to do what they do best—do some crazy and mischievous things in public just to make people laugh. And if you love the first movie, you are definitely going to enjoy the second one.

Jackass Number Two starts off with the team being chased by bulls in a suburban neighborhood, as they caused mayhem wreaked havoc in a way that made people laugh. On top of that, this film contains a lot of different stunts and pranks that all of the cast members of Jackass Number Two do together. And in the final portion of the film, the team sings and dances together to the tune of “The Best of Times”.

Jackass Presents: Mat Hoffman’s Tribute to Evel Knievel is the first Jackass spin-off movie that isn’t part of the main Jackass movie timeline. That is why we don’t get to see the entire group of friends in this film.

In this movie, what happens is that BMX great Mat Hoffman is out there to team up with Johnny Knoxville and other popular riders as they pay tribute to Evel Knievel, who is widely known as the greatest stuntman of all time. There are also several clips that pay tribute to Evel Knievel’s life.

Jackass Movies in Order: The Complete Watching Guide (5)

Jackass 3D is the third Jackass movie that is part of the main timeline. It was released eight years after the first-ever Jackass movie and returned with the same cast members that revolve around Johnny Knoxville.

In this movie, we see different members of the cast lining up next to each other while donning the colors of the rainbow, all while the theme song of the film is played in the background. As the theme song is played, the members perform all sorts of different hilarious stunts.

Like all of the previous Jackass movies, Jackass 3D is a collection of the different stunts and pranks performed by Johnny Knoxville and all of his other crazy friends. And the reason why this movie has the “3D” tag on it is that the stunts are shown the 3D effects that will allow us to see the stunts in an entirely new light. Jackass Movies in Order: The Complete Watching Guide (7)

Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa is the second Jackass Presents film in the Jackass franchise. However, unlike the first Jackass Presents movie, Bad Grandpa follows a fictional character named Irving Zisman as he teams up with his grandson Billy on a trip to North Carolina so that the boy can see his real father. And, surprise, Irving Zisman is played by none other than Johnny Knoxville himself.

The premise of the film revolves around the trip between the two characters, as Zisman introduces Billy to different people on the way to North Carolina. They also do a lot of different mischievous things together while on the trip. This makes it a fun movie that is about the bond between a grandpa and his grandson but in a funnier and more mischievous way.

8. Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa .5 (2014)

Jackass Movies in Order: The Complete Watching Guide (8)

Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa .5 follows the same formula that the other .5 movies did in the sense that this movie uses unused footage that was shot during the filming of the original movie. In this film, we see Irving and his grandson going on a trip where they encounter male strippers and a lot of different unsuspecting people.

9. Jackass Forever (2022)

Jackass Movies in Order: The Complete Watching Guide (9)

Jackass Forever is also called Jackass 4 because it is the fourth Jackass movie in the main timeline of the Jackass franchise. That means that it has been 12 years since Jackass 3D was released, as the cast is getting older and older (with Knoxville right around 50). Like the other Jackass movies, Jackass Forever is a reality comedy film that stars Johnny Knoxville and most of the other cast members present in the previous films.

On top of the regular cast members, Jackass Forever is also set to have various celebrity guest appearances to make things livelier. Of course, it is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and is scheduled to be released by Paramount Pictures on February 4, 2022.

Do you need to watch Jackass movies in order?

The thing you need to know about all of the Jackass movies is that they are standalone films that are entirely different from one another. Even though the movies retain the same cast members, they all have different premises. There might be loose references to the older movies if you watched the newer ones first, but it really doesn’t matter when it comes to the overall premise and the fun and entertainment you get.

As such, there is no need for you to watch the Jackass movies in order, but we do recommend that you watch the .5 (Jackass 2.5, Jackass 3.5, Bad Grandpa .5) movies following their respective main movies.

Will there be more Jackass movies?

Yes, there will be more Jackass Movies, even though it took more than a decade for a new one to release following Jackass 3D. The next movie, as mentioned, is Jackass Forever, which is also called Jackass 4, as it is the direct sequel to Jackass 3D and is part of the main Jackass movie timeline. The film is set to release early in February of 2022, with Jackass 4.5 set to release about a year after the release of Jackass Forever.
